Dr. Zia is a member of Lone Star Dental Anesthesia, hailing from New York. Dr. Zia received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2015. He then decided to pursue a three-year residency in Dental Anesthesiology at Stony Brook University Hospital from 2015 to 2018, treating patients of all ages and complexities both in the hospital and private office setting. During this time, he further developed his skills on a cleft lip surgery mission trip to Sudan, where he provided anesthesia to children of all ages undergoing reparative surgery. He discovered that he was a Texan at heart after marrying his wife, a DFW native, in 2014, and is excited to finally establish roots in North Texas. Dr. Zia is a certified provider of ACLS and PALS and is dedicated to the Lone Star Dental Anesthesia mission of providing safe, quality anesthesia services in the comfort of your outpatient dental/oral surgery office. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, watching movies, and planning road trips. He and his wife, Sunna, are expecting their first child, a baby girl, this fall.
