DENTAL CHECKUP (Above 4 year old)

Examination of your child's teeth and gums, professional dental cleaning and polishing with flavored cleaning paste, a fluoride treatment and a set of dental digital X-rays. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child get a checkup every six months.

PROTECTIVE DENTAL SEALANTS

The goal is to seal the grooves of the chewing surfaces of the back teeth to prevent cavities, mostly done on permanent teeth and occasionally on baby teeth. Sealants come in two colors, white or clear and do not change child's bite. No Anesthetic is needed.

WHITE DENTAL FILLINGS

We use only white fillings for both front and back teeth with minimum removal of tooth structure. White fillings will keep your child's smile same as before treatment without any noticed change. Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) and Anesthetic may be used.

DENTAL EXTRACTIONS FOR ORTHODONTICS

Include baby and permanent teeth extractions needed before orthodontics treatment. Topical Anesthetic (numbing gel) is used before Local Anesthetic (injection). Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) may be used. Child unlikely will need antibiotics.

DENTAL EXTRACTIONS

Include baby teeth extractions needed because of infection, abscess or trauma. Topical Anesthetic (numbing gel) is used before Local Anesthetic (injection). Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) may be used. Child likely will need antibiotics.

NITROUS OXIDE

The safest sedative in dentistry. A blend of gasses make children feel relaxed, happy and sometimes giggly. Because of that it is called laughing gas. Child remain fully conscious and maintain all natural reflexes.

SPACE MAINTAINERS

They are recommended sometimes after baby teeth extraction to prevent teeth shifting and space loss. Doctor can assess the need of a spacer based on when the tooth was lost and how long before the eruption of the new tooth. There are several types and designs of space maintainers, doctor should decide the best option based on the situation. Some spacers need to be removed once the new tooth erupts in the mouth, others can stay for some time even after new teeth are erupted. Dental impression is needed.

CUSTOM FIT MOUTH GUARDE

The goal is to avoid dental injuries in contact sports. You can always try over the counter mouth guard, if it is not comfortable with poor fit we can make an individual one for you with better fit. Dental impression is needed.
